Useless. I finally had to use this and that.

No use. I finally had to use it and it just fell apart after one try. The connection from the pressure gauge to the hose does not hold even if it is blocked.

Pros
  • Includes 14mm and 18mm spark plug adapters
Cons
  • Ok

During the assembly process the glue, similar to the thread sealant they use on the gauge, was applied too carefully and clogged the gauge. I managed to drill out the sealant with a hole punch. The kit is bare, but it will get the job done

Pros
  • Adapter for many vehicles (spark plug types/depths)
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Extremely easy to use and read.

I have only had the opportunity to use this pressure gauge once before and it has been extremely easy to use. This gave me accurate readings without the bouncing up and down arrows that I've heard some other models can do. My thoughts so far are that I would definitely choose it as a gift for someone who loves working on their cars.

Pros
  • Connections: M10, M12, M14, M18 (male thread, with O-ring)
Cons
  • Lots

The quality is erratic, but it worked well.

OK. The first one I bought didn't work properly (the gauge connector just detached from the compression tube adapter, ie as soon as I tried to check compression!). The second worked fine. So it's not a super high quality tool, but as long as you have a working tool it will get the job done for light applications. So, worked for me, but your mileage may vary.

Pros
  • Includes 2 Quick-Check rubber cones (no need to screw into head)
Cons
  • Fits

Broke after a few uses.

Update: Less than a year later and it completely failed. It looks like air is somehow leaking through the gauge. Now it doesn't show compression on any vehicle or engine. I've only used it a couple of times and failing quickly is unacceptable. ), but with that in mind, I can safely do compression tests on my engines, my family's and friends' engines at home, without spending $100 on a mechanic or a dealer. Make sure that the plug-in adapter is very tight on the hose! I made a mistake on the…

Pros
  • 3 inch gauge has dual color scales 0-300psi, 0-20kPa
Cons
  • Requires socket
