They are short and won't fit snugly in the 2.5" shop vac hose. The hose is easy to disconnect. I taped the tubing to make it tighter.

Ideal for ShopVac hoses. The Craftsman "Store Vacuum" required 1 roll of black tape to fit exactly. Plugs are exactly what I need.

Good product and price but only for tubing with ribbed plastic ends. Some vacuum hoses have a soft male end and the depth of this connection does not exceed the length required for a soft plastic male end.

These fittings are too big for my hoses to fit properly. But when I wrapped the hose connectors in plastic tape several times, they fit perfectly into the couplers. So I decided to keep her. Many Thanks.

I'd give them a high mark if they really held two 2 1/2" hoses together instead of constantly letting them slip out. used as workshop style, slightly unhealthy cup of coffee! Deserves one Star.

Fits Craftsman and Shop Vac hoses. Just a tip, if you need them a little bigger use a heat gun and they "stretch" really easily. I had to "stretch" one for my Dewalt plane. Dewalt made a vacuum hose coupler that was almost the same size as the hose itself and this trick solved my problem.
