Decent paddle. best in my review

Fairly well made, set up for fishing. Has graduations from 0-40" for measuring your catch on the handle. But honestly, if you hook a 40" fish on a kayak, I would imagine you're going for a ride and the fish is driving. The age-old adage "We're going to need a bigger boat" will quickly come into play.I have been working with carbon fiber composite materials since the late 1980's, and I've learned a few things in that time. First, anything you buy that has carbon fiber as a load bearing component

Pros
  • ‎Unisex
Cons
  • Higher cost compared to other options on the market

Really lightweight and good quality for the price

I typically fish and just to leisure float trips from my kayak, (for context) Received my paddle the other day, First thing I noticed that the product had been doubled boxed to help protect it during the shipping process. I have read many of the reviews about this paddle, so I inspected it closely for any possible delamination's in the handle area, none to be found. I am not an expect by any means, but I was impressed by this paddle. Considerably lighter then my current aluminum paddle (mind…

Pros
  • Fits perfect on my 120 Old town PDL
Cons
  • Leash can get tangled and impede movement or cause accidents

Not your $200 carbon fiber paddle

I am an intermediate paddler. I purchased this because of the low price for a carbon fiber paddle.I measured the left and right paddle separately and the total weight is 37.5 OZ/1060 gram, the customer Q/A said 34 oz, I guess that is for the 230cm one?The blade is not as solid as my 60 dollar Aluminium shaft paddle. You can also feel the flexibility of the shaft even when just swinging it in the air.Overall, I think you just need to spend more to get a solid lightweight paddle.

Pros
  • ‎51.5 x 8 x 2.3 inches
Cons
  • Difficult to adjust, reducing overall flexibility and adaptability

Lightweight paddle with a bigger blade for sit on tops

Nice lightweight paddle for my sit on top kayak. I have been kayaking for 30 years and I am guess what you call an expert. Your paddle can really make a difference in your enjoyment. I prefer a long thin paddle for my sit inside sea kayak where I will do distance. For shore work or using my sit on top, I prefer a wider paddle that really grips the water. Recommended.

Pros
  • OTAL LENGTH AT 250cm (98 inches): It’s an ideal kayak fishing paddle at affordable cost. It’s also detachable at 2 sections, so you might carry it around and put it away easily.
Cons
  • Limited color or aesthetic options may not appeal to all users

Light weight paddle

Very light weight kayak paddle that seems to perform well. My only gripe is that this is no grips so it slides or rolls easy in your hands when wet. I fixed this with some waterproof sports tape. Other than the grip issue, a great paddle.

Pros
  • LIGHTWEIGHT: This kayak paddle is with carbon fiber composite shaft and fiberglass reinforced PP blade. Being 98'' long , the whole kayak oar weighs around 37 oz. It’s a perfect choice for kayakers of various skill levels.
Cons
  • Requires more effort to maneuver, making kayaking more challenging

Strong composite. Good length. Well made

I recently found an inexpensive kayak, and so i splurged on this paddle. The pole is a durable composite, so i bet this will outlast my kayak :-). I like this material for just the right minimal flexibility and the light weight, about 3 pounds. The shape of the paddle works for me for power strokes, and there is a cutout in one blade that is useful for desnagging fishing line. That, and the drip-barriers are clever, and are found on many paddles. I also like that this can be taken apart in two…

Pros
  • ‎1.59 Kilograms
Cons
  • Carbon shaft requires more care and maintenance compared to other materials

Nice paddle good for me

This is the first kayak paddle I have ever owned much less used. After researching, I went with this paddle due to reviews and price point. This 96 in (8 ft) paddle is right at 37 ozs and feels really light in the hands. It has worked well for me using it in a pirogue vs a kayak. The pirogue has a wider gunwale which is why I went with the 96 in version. It does what it's meant to do.getting me down the bayou.

Pros
  • ‎OKA250CA01BK
Cons
  • Grip may not fit comfortably in all hand sizes or shapes

Great paddle at the price point.

After reading the other reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect to be honest. It looks, works, fits together, and feels just right. The carbon fiber shaft is very light and strong. The orange paddles are plenty strong and molded very well. The water stoppers are a perfect fit. It even comes with a free lanyard that functions and fits great. Free bonuses are the best. This is just a great paddle for the money. I'm very satisfied with it. After seeing it and trying it out, my wife wants the same…

Pros
  • Paddles
Cons
  • Not as versatile as other paddle options due to length and carbon shaft material

I love this Paddle.

I’m glad I went with the carbon fiber shaft paddle. Nobody wants to go kayaking and be exhausted halfway through the trip. I got the orange tips so I can be see better. It’s super sturdy and for the money , it can’t be beat.I would absolutely buy this again!

Pros
  • DURABLE AND AFFORDABLE: The UV-stable PP blade ensures a stiff and durable kayak paddle at a better price. With the carbon kayak shaft, it’s an awesome combination of durability and value.
Cons
  • Difficulty fitting in smaller storage spaces due to long length

Good paddle. Higher end price.

Very nice paddle. High quality carbon fiber. Fish measurer included. Lol. Snaps together perfectly. High end price. Carbon shaft can be too stiff for some users, causing discomfort or strain!

Pros
  • I am 6’2. The added length was much needed. Made my kayak journey more enjoyable.
Cons
  • Carbon shaft can be too stiff for some users, causing discomfort or strain

This paddle is an amazing addition to your sports and outdoors gear! The carbon shaft is lightweight and sturdy, allowing you to paddle faster and with more power. The 98-inch size is perfect for wider kayaks, and the included leash gives you peace of mind. It's a bit pricey, but worth the investment for hardcore kayaking enthusiasts. Overall, a fantastic choice for anyone looking to up their water sports game.

Pros
  • Durable carbon shaft material provides strength and stability for efficient and powerful paddling.
Cons
  • The extra length of the 98-inch paddle may prove difficult to maneuver for beginners or those with smaller frames.

Great carbon fiber paddle

I am surprised that this paddle doesn't cost more. Other (shorter) carbon fiber paddles are at least twice the price, and not that much better. I have had no problems with this paddle, and it feels very comfortable to grip. I also like the ruler printed on the shaft to measure fish, people, dogs, manhood.you name it!

Pros
  • Sports & Outdoors
Cons
  • Not suitable for beginners or those with limited upper body strength
