Zero stars! Bought for BMW X5 (E53) 2001. The cable is too short and won't snap like an OEM part. I spent hours and hours trying to get it to work but in the end it didn't even open the door! The distance between the two cable attachment points is too short, so the cable cannot fully penetrate the mechanism to release the door lock and open the car door. I should have known the price seemed good to be true! Aftermarket junk!

I just installed this right front door handle bracket on my 2005 X5. It turned out to be of decent quality, but the casting is very sloppy. I had to file in many places to get the handle to fit. I also had to heavily file the area where the back cover slides into the holder. The end of the cable was also very difficult to fit onto the door latch ball.
