Works well if you know what you're doing.

Worked on my Chevrolet 06. Malibu. Those of you who think it should be flush with the rotor aren't thinking straight. It just needs to be evenly fastened to all three or two studs/bolts and centered on the axle. Works perfectly.

Pros
  • is clear, even the old
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Doesn't work all the time.

Used on the Honda Civic 95 and pushes the axle out the back of the hub rather than pulling the hub out. Attachment to lug bolts could be better, difficult to evenly tighten both sides, not much room for lug nuts. Slowed down the process a lot.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • unreliable

Saved the day - Rim

VW Jetta mk6 2012 CV front axle didn't push the hub out. One side slipped out with no problem, but the right side got stuck. Installed the trigger, zipped it up and hit the ugga-ugga pistol and it slowly moved out. I made sure to grease the wedge on the new one to keep it from getting stuck again.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Negative impression

If it doesn't fit, change it!

I bought this for my Mini Cooper S 08 and it was a bit big and the hole pattern was offset by about 1/4 inch. I put it in a vise and squeezed it to fit. You have to use an extension to turn the vise, but it worked! So if the hole pattern fits but the tabs go in at an angle, just use a vise and you're good to go!

Very strong tool - Wheel

My hub is very cold. I applied about 300 ft/lbs of torque to this puller and hit it with a 2 pound hammer and it didn't complain. At first I used an impact wrench and the threads were starting to get annoying. I cleaned the threads, applied anti-seize and ran for another hour with no problems. Severe violence no problem.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Drill kit

Very well made hub puller

I like this front hub puller. It is well made and works very well. I had no problem getting my stuck axle out. At first I was concerned as my passenger side was very badly stuck. I tried a hammer and punch but it wouldn't move and this puller did the job. Yes, I would recommend this hub puller to any DIY enthusiast willing to get their hands dirty.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Does not fit all

Good quality for the price

I was using this to try and get the CV axle out of the hub on my Elantra '07. While it didn't work and I had to cut out the axle with a flashlight, I suffered a heck of a lot from being hit by the 1/2" porter cable and the heat from the mapp flashlight. It's not the tool's fault that the axle wouldn't come loose. I've always had trouble with parts on this car that wouldn't fall apart. It was just a cheap and easy way to try before you smash the big guns. I recommend this part, though it does…

Rotate the dummy steering wheel lol

5 stars because I used it to pull out the wheel bearing hub and when I tightened it pulled the hub out on one side then I turned it over and I pulled it and couldn't get it to work, and then I realized I was doing something wrong. My son turned the steering wheel all the way to the right, then to the left, and after tightening the puller, he immediately pulled the hub assembly out. Great product for the price. I highly recommend this product as I think anyone who doesn't know how to use the…

  • Definitely a bad product
