Description of ABN Diesel Injector Remover Adapter

INJECTOR REMOVAL TOOL: The ABN Diesel Fuel Injector Slide Puller is designed for removing stuck common-rail diesel injectors quickly and safely without dismantling the cylinder head for injector nozzle cars; The injector remover kit contains a 1.3-pound (.6 kg) shop hammer weight and M8, M12, M14 adapters. REPLACING OLD INJECTORS: Fuel injectors are important as they are what injects fuel directly into the cylinder, but because of their continuous use, they are prone to cracks, breaks, and minor physical wear; Symptoms of this issue can range from rough engine idle, slow acceleration, misfire, bad gas mileage, to gas leaks; This fuel injector tool helps to easily remove injectors for testing and cleaning as well as replacement. GREAT FOR BOSCH AND LUCAS INJECTORS: This kit includes a 7-inch (178 mm) bar and a 1.3 lb. (.6 kg) slap hammer weight along with M8, M12, M14 thread adapters; This injector puller tool assists in removing stubborn Bosch and Lucas diesel injectors; Adaptors and slide hammer are stored in a convenient plastic box for storage and travel. DURABLE CONSTRUCTION: Made of a strong, durable steel, this automotive hammer puller tool is sure to pull even the toughest fuel injectors from tight positions; This remover kit has a steel rod with two threaded ends; The durable metal helps to increase pulling strength and force while also providing longevity for the tool. EASY TO USE: To use, first attach the tool to the injector you wish to remove, then yank the weight towards the handle to give an extra snap of weight to the stuck part; The force transfers to the shaft, pulling the attached end and injector in the desired direction; Repeat action until the part is removed; Always work with a cold engine to avoid damage and remember to replace all injectors as a set to keep engine balanced.

Good quality for the price.

I can confirm that they work with M12 threaded injectors on the N54 engine. As others have pointed out, the key is to swap the adapters from side to side. Both sides of the tool have M12 threads, but one side of the shank is reduced in diameter, allowing the M14 thread to slide on the shank, allowing you to screw into the opposite side of the M12 thread. It took me a few minutes to figure it out, but after that it worked great. Good quality for the price. The threads are easy to cut.

Ideal for Mercedes 642 diesel injectors

What you need for Mercedes 642 injectors No additional adapters required. The #3 cylinder used on the 2008 ML w164, on the passenger side and closest to the firewall, has a small gap that required a little massage of the thin metal shell to get enough clearance. It's fine, and if you're careful, it can't be recognized after you remount the partitions. A good inexpensive tool compared to other analogues. Fix the black diesel death before the big mess happens. Easy job, especially if you warm up…

money well spent. - Injectors and parts

Good quality tool for the money. It came with an 8mm 75 thread adapter as well as the others listed. I needed an 8mm 1.00 thread pitch for International Harvester D239 injectors. I just bought a bolt with the thread I wanted and another bolt that matched the adapter's threads and welded them end to end. I made sure I had enough threads to put the lock nut onto the screw threads in the injector. I was relieved that I didn't tighten the threads on the injector as it only has @.25" threads. I…

Pulled out jammed diesel injector on Yanmar 4 LHA super happy!

I am so happy with this product at the moment that I would give it 100 stars if I could - I had this badly stuck diesel injector in one of my Yanmar 4lha - stzp engines on my boat. Soaked in penetrating oil, plucked and beaten for 3 days - to no avail. I looked for an injector puller like this at every local tool and engine store in Seattle and nobody had any in stock. I ordered this product which arrived 1 day ahead of schedule and after plugging it in and pounding it up and down for about 20…

Works with Bosch injectors #0445110597 - BMW Diesel

Great tool. Fits my 2014 BMW 328D 2.0L L4 N47 engine with Bosch injectors (BMW part number 13538506548). At 146,000 miles the injectors came out easily, BMW recommended a gentle tap left to right and 1 or 2 light hammer blows; even #4 which was rusty. Don't forget to tape/label the injectors in the order the cylinders are removed, they are coded into the car's ECU and should go back in the same hole. When replacing the cylinder head valve cover, I gently dipped the injector rods/tips in a can…
