🔧 ABN Adjustable Fuel Pump Module Spanner Wrench – Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, VW, Chrysler – 3/8in to 1/2in Review

Used to replace the fuel pump on an e60 m5, works great and better than paying over $100 for other brands. If you change the fuel pump yourself and can't get this tool to work properly, the problem isn't with the tool, it's testing yourself before you wreck yourself lol.

This worked great for removing the fuel pumps from a Ferrari 360. Only a little effort was required to hold the levers on the locking ring. The levers tend to move when loosening the ring with high torque (e.g. when loosening the ring for the first time) and will need to be readjusted. It also worked great for tightening and reinstalling the locking ring on top of the fuel pump.

An excellent tool for its price. Accelerated installation of the fuel and pressure regulator. Thought of just using a hammer and screwdriver but saved on cost and time. It didn't break or fall apart even when I thought I broke something. It was just a ring on the pump that was very tight. i can't win As a girl, it's easy to use the right tools for the job.

The slots in the arms don't engage the retaining ring ribs as securely as I had hoped. There are a number of things in a VW Jetta setup that affect full rotation such that it takes multiple engagement-disengagement-engage cycles to fully disengage the ring. What worked for one diametrically opposed pair of ribs didn't necessarily work for everyone. Indeed, on reassembly, keeping the tool engaged without threading the plastic ring onto the threads of the steel tank was a major problem.

Not sure I expected much from a tool like this at this price point as I've seen others much more expensive. Boy was I wrong! It worked so well that after adjusting the width there was absolutely no slipping or other issues. In the few minutes that I was able to use this tool, a really painful task was made easier for me. If only they had the key to remove the tank so quickly and effortlessly! Would have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone looking to remove the fuel tank ring to replace

I used this to remove the plastic ring on my Honda Element plastic tank. This ring was on the tank for 15 years. I point out that my tank and ring were plastic because I can't comment on how well this wrench will work with a rusty metal tank. , tight fit. Be sure to pay attention to the grooves in the two small chopsticks and look closely - that helps. I also made sure the rods were at right angles (not rotated) to the top of the tool when tightened.
