The wire access slot is too narrow for my sensor

I couldn't use it. I wanted to make sure it would work with my sensor before starting the uninstall/install process. When I tried to put it on the new oxygen sensor I couldn't get it onto the cable. The sheathed wire was two wide to fit the slot. I sent it back.

High Performance Oxygen Removal Head

Perfect for my 22mm Honda Civic. I found it to be a strong alloy bushing with no flexing under heavy loads. I used a hammer to remove the sensor that seemed to be melting after 13 years with 150,000 miles, the exhaust manifold that boy pulled out. If you're looking for an outlet that can take a beating, this is it.

  • Great for me

Just a few millimeters lower would be so great.

You're a little stingy with the overall depth of this socket. It fits, it works, but you really have to smack the power cord against the base of the socket, even though you have a slot to get it out. Tighten the nut on Ford oxygen sensors, this may not be a problem with other types of oxygen sensors if their overall length is shorter than Ford sensors.

Pros
  • Perfect for a small house
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Great but could be higher

The sensor on my BMW E46 was easy to remove although I had to use a breaker. Not sure if this is E46 specific, but the sensor wires were a bit tight and I didn't push the tool all the way in when installing the new sensor and damaged the wire harness. Although this is my fault, this could have been avoided if the adapter was half an inch taller, hence the 4 stars. The rest of the adapter is very solid. No problem with a purchase recommendation, just push it through carefully so that it gets…

Great, but it almost didn't work!

I bought this product based on other favorable reviews. This one turned out to be the strongest and best in the reviews, so I bought it. First of all it worked. Let's just get that out of the way. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because it barely worked and the gap widened when trying to pull the old O2 sensor (see pic). But to be honest my jeep is 20 years old and it was the original sensor which has been rusting and getting hot for 20 years. I actually had to use a pry bar and heat
