Good leverage on large clamps

Good leverage but there was a problem holding a large strong clamp with a factory curvature on the teeth. Managed to get them to work.

Not quite heavy duty

Tried to remove the TruArc ring from the bottom of the boat. Won't break the ring enough to pull it out. The Soviets moved on under pressure. Time to look for another design.

Pliers work well, I had to get into a space about 4 inches deep and 4 inches diameter with a shaft in the middle, it took me a while to figure out which one A set of usage tips, well worth the money

Not difficult

The price is right, but these pliers aren't strong enough to handle snap rings in tough conditions. Mine bent and one of the pins broke. I rebuilt a milling machine and .oops. I'm sure these pliers will work well with thinner snap rings.

Looking for a cheap and inferior tool? Look no further!

Purchased to remove some of the large snap rings in the gearbox. On first use the pliers (made from cheap stamped sheet steel) collapsed on one side and made me wonder why I bought them in the first place. Fit and finish is what you can expect from this cheap tool. They might get you out of a tight spot, but then again, they might just break your hand.

About three times larger than I expected

They work but I had to reduce the diameter of the pins to fit the snap ring holes as the snap rings hold the bearings in the 24 liter mower's gearbox pivot. One inch diameter snap rings. A bit awkward to use due to their size, but they freed the rings from the grooves and are clear enough to be removed. My usual tricks of using a pen, small screwdrivers or needle nose pliers to get the rings off didn't work. I have to say that the price was definitely good. The rings were a bit damaged when…
