Beautiful and functional

Very happy with my new screw! Warning lest you make the same mistake I did - this cog will fit a 3/32 chain (7/8/9 speed), NOT a single speed 1/8 chain. The wider cog width (7mm) also means you should have extra shims on hand to accommodate the slightly larger width. Gear works as advertised and looks cool with the grid pattern.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Looks cute. The only problem is that it's REAL.

Light, well made, wide interface with hub body, looks cute. The only problem is that it fits REALLY tight to my body and was very difficult to put on. Maybe Stans hub shells are just too wide? However, I haven't had it with my other cogs (Niner, Surly, Endless, cheap generic ones) on any FreeHub cases (including the same Stans). I would still buy it again even though it's a tight fit.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Frequency

Excellent narrow wide tooth profile

Trek Farley (fat bike) gear conversion to single speed. I know but the pain is intense and less maintenance. I had to choose between an 8 speed (or single speed) chain or a sprocket that works with 10+ speed chains. I was intrigued by the narrow-wide tooth profile of this gear. So I chose these due to the narrow profile of the teeth to reduce chain drop. Works well with my KMC 10 speed chain. I also like the wider gear base. I ended up removing the existing spacer to install it. Looks like I…
