Dropped 3 inches and too soft

Dropped too far and the impact was soft. Stock removed and installed. You just have to accept that the bike is high. Put in a Suzuki gel seat, which lowers the seat 1 inch but is less comfortable. 30" inseam so not too bad, but it sucks in the woods.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • So-so

Well done: Replacement parts

Definitely check the reduction. Somehow I ordered 7cm for the first time. The seller returned the money with no problems. I got and installed 4cm links that actually reduced the static sag by 1" which is just right for me. Even lowering the raised front/rear forks is enough to eliminate jerky handling at high highway speeds.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from the testers
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

The sockets are already installed.

Very well finished and good looking powder coating gives these links a nice look. According to some links available on the Internet, the sockets are not installed and are exposed. These links are pre-pressed and aligned to ensure a perfect fit. Good product. I would recommend these links. Delivery was fast, product was well packaged. I would do business with this company again.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Dull Packaging

2 " total seat drop

On a 2 week old DRZ400 (OEM height is 36.8") after I dropped the front 9/16" which is the best thing I could do. 34.75" before lowering the front. And after adding 30mm spacers. Without shims you can only lower the handlebars about 3/8". I have a 5'10" with a 31 inseam " and couldn't balance the bike vertically at the factory height. ; it flexed a bit toward my toes and it didn't work for me because I was afraid my calves would curl up one day and I'd fall. Center to center is this Linkage…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs
