Works well but too sensitive. I live in New York and my motorcycle is outside. In a windy week, the alarm went off constantly, infuriating everyone in the area. Finally I went down and removed the lock for myself and everyone else. A day later someone stole the bike. I think if this lock was a little less sensitive or if I could adjust the sensitivity I would still have my bike.

If the thief has a van/truck, it doesn't matter, but otherwise it's a very good deterrent. As others have described, it's not as loud as most would like and it takes a bit of practice to turn it on and off without sounding an alarm. I've practiced on/off switching several times and was able to complete it on a 2016 Ducati 1200R which has little play between the rim and disc rotor. The lock is big and heavy, which is good and which is bad. For example, on the HD Softail, the lock does not fit on the brake discs. But the most annoying thing is that it is IMPOSSIBLE to remove the lock without turning on the alarm! Firstly, tightening the dust cap must be done with absolute precision, making sure the lock is not disturbed in any way. Second, the alarm will beep the moment you insert the key and you have a second or two to remove the lock or else you'll wake up the neighbors.
