Attention buyers! But as strong as I thought. A bracket broke off while being attached to the ceiling. As you can see from my photos, the part that attaches to the ceiling is not solid and is therefore a very weak point in the design. I very much doubt they will hold the advertised weight and I don't feel confident using them.

Really cheap anchor bolts. The bolt broke when screwing it into a pre-drilled hole. Don't use it and go to your local hardware store and buy a quality set. Black paint peels and peels very easily. Rusted after the first rains. And then after the order is out of stock. Buyer Warning. Directions and bearings will not fall out. Hole alignment stickers come with three, so don't crumble and reuse what you have.

It is described as having 'high quality bearings' as opposed to 'competitor's plastic bushings'. The ones I received only have a plastic sleeve. It will be trash in less than a season. Let's hope this was a mistake and the seller will fix it. The only option was to return it on credit and now I have to try to buy it again and at a higher price. I have ordered several of these hangers in different styles, this particular hanger is aluminum so should wear out better than steel, ball bearings are fine and the Finishes are great, no doubt. I chose these swing mounts that I built for our older kids. The mounts themselves are well made and the ball bearing is said to ensure a long, quiet life. The only minor issues are with the mounting. This product is made of cast aluminium. Aluminum doesn't deform before it breaks. Forged components are preferred, cast aluminum can fail suddenly and catastrophically. Regular inspection required. It seems up to the task. Do not overtighten the hardware as additional pressure may cause breakage. The supplied lag bolts are Class A. They are really nice and well designed with no obvious cosmetic issues. No squeaks, well sealed bearings, good and smooth operation. The only complaint I have is why I gave it 4 stars: corrosion will be an issue but won't show up for a while. This is aluminum. All fasteners are black coated steel or galvanized steel.
