Ideal for motel use, charging multiple devices!

Excellent for motels. I bought it specifically for a cross country trip with my sister where we stayed at a new motel each night. Some motels have USB ports on the bedside tables, but certainly not all. I was glad to have my phone nearby for an alarm function and not across the room knowing it was charging all night. Until I found this surge protector, I had to carry around a long extension cord with multiple outlets on one end to simultaneously charge my phone and tablet in my motel room. With

Pros
  • Handsome
Cons
  • Not sure

This is my favorite charger at the moment. It has surge protection, but I bought it to plug in rather than protect. But that's a plus. Two USB ports can deliver a total output of 2.1A/10W. So using just one USB port is enough to charge your iPad at almost full speed (the iPad came with a 10W charger for years, and newer ones now use 12W chargers). The downside is that you have to avoid using the second port or things will slow down again. But in general this is a plus. Many travel chargers…

Ideal for traveling: power distributor

The plug folds in a unique way: ground pin bends to hot and neutral pins. That makes it compact, but also worries me about durability. The plug does not rotate and the ground pin is located on the bottom of the unit. This can make it difficult to use with regular outlets in most hotels, as the device's body faces the lamp. The device must fit in the upper outlet so as not to block the lower one. The USB charging ports work well and charge quickly. The location of the forks allows for…

Still going strong after 4 years

I've had this for 4 years now and it's still working as well as I got it. Here are some things I found about it. Pros: portability. A folding fork at the rear facilitates transport without a cable. Plus one - speed - it loads at a good speed. Cons - Plastic construction seems cheap (but under $20). - The plug on the back starts to get lost after 3 years. However, once mine dies, I will be buying this product again.

A must have for accessories and supplies

This item is a must have for any traveler or anyone with charging cables. Practical in the office, practical in the computer bag. Smart design as it plugs into the top plug of an outlet so it doesn't cover the bottom plug like some others do. In addition, because of the design, you can connect three things to it, even bricked cables. And two USB ports to charge your iPad and other devices. I've tried a few of these things and I think this is the best. Take one for the office, one or two for…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Expensive

This charger sits in my bedroom most of the time to charge 2 devices at once or to protect a connected laptop and has traveled extensively UK and India with me, where he showed himself brilliantly! When you're on the go, pair it with the universal outlet adapter and you can safely go anywhere; Two USB charging ports and 3 widely spaced outlets mean the single outlet adapter lets you charge whatever devices you can take with you. Even with the thick-wall adapters connected, there is still enough

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Unacceptable build quality, connectors don't fit.

Don't waste your money. The build quality of the side ports is terrible. The pins for the pens do not match the holes in the case so they don't make contact with the side of the stylus, just stop the stylus from entering. I bought two and both had the same problem. I thought I was just unlucky with the first one and was willing to buy another one as it's cheap and WireCutter recommended, but now I'm 0 out of 2. UNPLUGGED) You could try pointing the pin in the direction to slide where he should…

A practical alternative to the travel surge protector

This travel surge protector will appeal to many people. It seems well made, the A/C tines fold in the back, it weighs 1/2 lb and comes in either black or white. However, I returned it. I've found that many hotels don't have two-story outlets available that you can plug this into. They can often be found behind headboards or other furniture. You can usually find a bathroom duplex that should house this surge protector. Some hotels have desks with AC outlets built into the table lamp. Connecting…
