There is a *significant* loss of water pressure with this replacement grip!

Pros: Installing this grip was the same as two other replacement grips I have installed in the past. Cons: Not sure why, but there was a significant drop in water pressure. . The handset has a softer feel compared to the original and the previous two replacement grips, which might explain the difference. I usually set the pressure between 7.5 and 8. Now I set it to 10 and it seems to me that it's set somewhere below what I normally set it to. If you don't like the low pressure in the Waterpik…

Poor water pressure, poor fit, tips keep falling out

Bought to replace the original with the WP-663. I immediately noticed that the water pressure was greatly reduced. I usually run my waterpik at max pressure, but emptying the tank with this grip took a lot longer. In addition, the interchangeable handle does not fit well in the holder and keeps falling out. Also, my Waterpik tip constantly and annoyingly pops out of the new pen while I'm using it, which never happened with the original pen. Finally, I noticed leaks where the new grip hose…

Affects WaterPik flow

This replacement grip kit looks like the original but for unknown reasons significantly reduces WaterPik flow. At the highest WaterPik setting, 10, it has about 2/3 the pressure that the original pen had. I would have thought it was a coincidence but 6 months ago we bought an aftermarket pen for one of our other WaterPiks and it had the same issue. It's hard to imagine how it could be otherwise, but if you don't want your stylus to perform the same way, I would recommend getting a genuine…

No print in WP-300

This is the second pen of this type that I have bought. The first one a couple of years ago had low water pressure even with the Water Pik set to maximum but it was barely usable. After about 3 months the pressure rose to normal (for some reason). But the hose started leaking, which I fixed by cutting off the leaks. This worked until the hose became too short. So, about 2 months ago I bought another pen. This new one started with very low pressure and has since gotten much worse. I give up…

This isn't Water Peak!

As you've probably read in many reviews, if you normally use your oral irrigator at maximum pressure, you'll immediately notice a drop in pressure with this (and probably many other) replacement sticks. I timed the use of the original and replacement nozzles to see how quickly they can empty a 600ml tank of water. The original wand emptied it in one minute and 11 seconds.
