I am pleased to see how accurate it is. I used it on all of my family members, and the results were different for each of us. I wanted to make sure that it wasn't one that gave the same result every time or only gave results in a very small range. I also like that it has 2 modes. One for surface temperatures and one for body temperature. So far it has proven accurate in both modes. It feels well made and durable and comes with a storage pouch. For the money, this one is definitely a great buy…

Update: Changed to three stars. I eventually found the section in the little booklet how to operate it and through trial and error figured it out. Still a pain though because it always reads "Lo" when I turn it on.Original: The instruction book is terrible. Walks through all the technical aspects and modes to use but there isn't a "here's how to operate it" section. When turned on it reads "Lo". So I changed the batteries and still says "Lo" even though the battery indicator shows fully charged

This is a very easy thermometer to set up. it gives an accurate measurement of the body temperature. It also comes with a carrying pouch which makes it very convenient to put into a purse or into a diaper bag. it also includes batteries which is awesome. I definitely would recommend this thermometer. For the price point it is definitely one to have on hand especially during this pandemic.

This thermometer takes an accurate reading every time. It’s easy to read and has made taking my children’s temps a breeze.

I looked at all of infrared thermometers and decided I liked this brand best. It's a nice size, readout has black numbers on a white background, you hold it toward your forehead and push scan. It automatically turns off to save the battery. I purchased one for me and one for my daughter's family. Infrared are so much better and easier to used than the old thermometers.

The only reason I gave it 4/5 is it seems like it might break easily. I’ve had it a few months and it is fine so far. Will give it a few more months if use before I give it 5/5.

I bought this for my wife and she uses it for work. She has to take her temperature every day or she can not work. This is a good product most of the time. It will sometimes read different readings on the same person in just a few seconds with in 2 degrees. this was the only issue I had with it. Other than that we use it and will continue to use it. Thank You.

So far this has worked out well. It did take a few tries to figure out instructions on how to set the thermometer readings initially but I finally figured it out. That’s the reason for only 4 stars. Maybe all these infrared thermometers are the same to program them initially. Large, easy to read screen and comes with a nice soft bag to store it in.

We received the product quickly, and it's very easy to use. I like the two different reading modes for surface and for objects since it can be used on my baby's forehead as well as on the milk bottle, multiple usages in one! The screen shuts down by itself so I don't need to worry about the battery being drained too fast. So far we are happy to have the product as a necessary household in my family.

After using several times screen shows LO. Booklet not helpful in resolving. Not sure if accurate as it is the only thermometer I have. Would not recommend.

This thermometer is very easy to use. It defaulted to Fahrenheit, so that was extra convenient since a lot of reviews mentioned having a difficult time converting from Celsius. There are two readings—the first is shown under the house icon and is the surface temperature. The second is shown by the head icon and shows the internal temperature (one you need). I actually really appreciate the surface temperature reading because my son sometimes gets flushed and blotchy from sudden temperature…

Loved the ability to disable sound (for my dog especially!) Also like that it can be used to measure surfaces other than humans. Very easy to use!

So far so good. The thermometer is easy to use with a large display - can be used on either forehead or behind the ear. Can also be set to for use for measuring the temperature of items, like bottles, instead of people. It is accurate so far. Comes with two AAA batteries and a pouch. Light weight and compact. I actually bought two more and mailed to other family members.

I only gave this 4 stars because our Dr, said you have to add 1 point to these type Thermometer's for them to be accurate. the numbers are easy to see and it always gives us a read out !

Infrared thermometers are expensive these days, so when I found this I jumped at it, we use it to check not only ourselves but also guests, it is a quick and easy read.As far as accuracy it does not quite agree with my traditional in-mouth thermometer but it is close enough to be reliable and as I understand it the environment such as room temp influences the read on these.The conclusion is, this product is worth the price and a must in any medicine cabinet.

Awkward to use on self. Easier on others, but temps can read somewhat lower than oral thermometer. As a nurse, this is often worry with any other thermometer than oral. But good for in home use. Fast, so great for children. Display is easy to read.

Seems to work well! As long as you hold it 2in from your forehead. Any farther away or closer and the results are inaccurate. Love that you have the option to turn off any beep noise it might make.

very easy to use, and works well. only problem is, the forehead is always lower temperature than your inside body temperature. (98.6). and there is not very much information out there that tells you to "add one degree to the results to get your true body temperature".

I bought this thermometer since my daughter was exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19. I have noticed that the temperatures taken are a little below what I think is normal but then I compared to an oral thermometer and it was within 3 tenths of a degree so it is fairly accurate in my estimation. This is awesome. I had one you had to rub along your forehead but wanted something I could do from a distance and this works great. And you can use on humans or objects there are different settings as well as it saves the last 30 uses
