🌡️ Enhanced ACDelco GM Original Equipment Ambient Air Outside Temperature Sensor (Part# 10248414) Review

Very easy to fit on my 2000 Buick Regal. Fixed an issue where the air conditioner wouldn't turn on because the outside temperature wasn't displayed correctly. The exchange took about 5 minutes and I had the air conditioning back on.

Vette said it was 14F outside (was 100F!) so the AC wouldn't turn on. Crazy! Getting the little sensor fixed it and the problem hasn't come back. 5 minutes to install. Find a YouTube video and it will show you how to do it. A piece of cake!

I converted my original compass mirror to a compass/temp mirror and needed this part. I originally ordered another GM sensor that had a slide connector for mounting, but since my truck didn't come with a temp sensor, I chose this block as it has a mounting tab with a hole for easy installation.

Perfect replacement for the temperature sensor on my 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. The hardest part was finding a seat on the passenger side, on a plastic panel just in front of the radiator; Go under the front of the car on the passenger side, look up and it's there. The sensor reads the readings accurately and lets the air conditioner work again.

Excellent product! This solved the wrong readings from my outside temperature sensor. It read 36 feet Fahrenheit per day in 80 feet Fahrenheit, causing the air conditioning to not work (it's a fail-safe passenger antifreeze).
