Rear speaker for my 1996 Chevy pickup, works and sounds great, this speaker is an exact replacement for my old speaker. I replaced both rear speakers, the hardest part was removing the fairing and getting to them.

I was really worried about having to solder new wires but no! This came with an OEM plastic installer. All it took was detaching the old one and clipping this in its place. 10/10

I turned down the price at first but it's an old car and it makes sense to find a speaker that can be replaced. The sound quality is excellent to my ears. (I'm not a music lover) The speaker came securely packaged in a cardboard box with the official AC DELCO holographic label on the outside.

I had a set of Panasonic 4x6 coaxial speakers that I installed in place of the vented rear speakers on a '98 Extended Cab Chevy Silverado. They were 4 ohms and just didn't sound good. There just wasn't that much bass. I ordered them knowing they would have the sound I wanted. Well they did. plug and play No problem. From now on I'll put the OEM speakers back in if they burn out.

Requires modification to fit 1993 GMC Sonoma. The mounting holes were about 1/16 inch smaller. On the side of the cable connector, the original has a slot for attachment. I had to cut a slot on this speaker. The biggest problem was that the cable connector on this speaker is not installed the same way as the original, which causes the speaker to not properly press against the dashboard due to an air duct obstruction. This requires additional modifications, new connectors and soldering work.
