ACDelco 171 0978 Original Equipment Front Review

Feet like new very well packaged in original ACDelco box, all small clips and instructions included. I would buy them next time

Great durable OEM brake pads at a great price. They don't dust much, brake pretty well and will buy them again if I keep my car long enough.

Discs and pads purchased. I liked wearing them. very simple and they work great. No special tools, just a good set of half-inch sockets and a little patience, but basically four screws per side. good project

The pads were uneven around the edges, one had a 1/2"x3/8x1/4 chip on the edge of the pad. The box was in good condition, not sure why the pads were in a rough state.Also the silicone grease provided was punctured and smeared on 2 pads, the cleaner took care of that.Not sure I would buy again,probably to my local parts store

Bought these pads because they are the same pads that were originally on my truck. I drove 85,000 with the original. When the seals arrived they turned out to be Akebondo seals repackaged by Delco. My disappointment is that I could buy Akebondo like Akebondo for $40 less. Otherwise happy with it. They fit perfectly, little dust, no noise and hold up perfectly. Only time will tell if they will last as long as the originals.

But an armored Suburban full of diplomats pushes the braking system to its limits. These brake pads work under the most extreme loads.
