Good value brake pads

So far they have worked well on my '08 GMC Sierra. To be honest, I doubt whether these are really AC delco pads or not. I've never seen them come with loose clips in the box and the box itself looks fake. I had an issue with the clips rubbing on one side of the screen after installation which I had to fix. All this to say that the pads work as expected. They ooze good and pretty. Overall I am happy with their performance and so far I would say I would buy them again.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance

  • Intervals

Excellent original brake pads

Perfect fit, easy installation. No problem, the truck stops for a dime, clean and dust-free. The original pads have done 85,000 miles and have some left over so I'm hoping to get 100,000 of them. Clips included but no lube. Put some brake lube on the edges of the pads where they touch the clamps and they are silent. Make sure the caliper bracket is cleaned really well with brake cleaner or a wire brush before installing new clamps. I bought these instead of the cheaper ACD pads because they are

Wow. There's a lot of meat in these pillows!

I replaced them with a 2014 Chevy Silverado that had 107,000 miles on the original brake pads. I figured if the owner had 107,000 miles on stock pads, why the hell would I offer anything else? These are the front pads that provide the bulk of the truck's stopping power. And this is a work truck with heavy loads. It would be foolish to use an unnamed direct-fit aftermarket brake pad on such an important component. This is an area where you should stick with a true OEM. And as with most things…

Absolutely perfect fit for the braking system

After driving this 2008 Silverado for over 7 years and 100,000 (retired) miles with original pads, why on earth would I risk buying one cheap auto parts store to buy? Original pads? They fit absolutely perfectly, run quietly, fluidly and stop well. I've had aftermarket pads that had to grind down the tabs to fit the calipers properly, they were so poorly made. They work like they were made for a truck - oh wait! you were! This is a genuine OEM part and not one of the cheaper Delco replacement…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

After driving 88,900 miles on my 2013 Silverado 1500 LT I thought I might put on new brakes (still the originals). I have never owned a truck that has driven so many miles on one set of brakes. With results like this, you can't argue with OEM quality. The rotors showed little wear, but I replaced them anyway. These pads fit well and are obviously of high quality. The hardest part was removing the caliper bolts. I ended up breaking the jack (master) so I drove into town and got a 1/2 drive 18mm…

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • No power
