Perfect OEM aftermarket fit

Part fits perfectly. I couldn't find it anywhere locally. I was even dying to try the dumps (temporarily, of course). I just wish I didn't have to wait.

Pros
  • Builds confidence
Cons
  • Some issues

Not the same as OEM (FlexFuel)

On a flexible fuel vehicle (2002 Yukon XL 5.3L), the molded plastic part is different from the original. Luckily I only needed the top rubber elbow pad. The leak I had was fixed.

Pros
  • Fair Performance
Cons
  • Poor

Expensive trifle in spare parts

Genuine GM part sealed in a bag with a label with a GM hologram. Arrived on the spot with no problems. Quite expensive for a small plastic tube with molded rubber sleeves.

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • There are nuances

Not exactly the same but it worked just had to add an extra line

Definitely not OEM for my truck engine, maybe I have a flex fuel engine, my fuel pressure regulator sticks out the side of instead above. But with a piece of vacuum line you can get the job done easily, all you need is a top fat crank that's nowhere to be found. In the end it works for every setup with a little modification.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not automatic

Is it difficult to start your 2000 Silverado when it's warm?

I took my truck for a new fuel pump that cost $775. about 350 is too much. When I got it from the store, it didn't start easily after warming up. It became a complete pain in the ass and resulted in the death of my starter. So I did what anyone would do - watch a YouTube video and voila. Ordered, dressed, started the car and boom. problem solved

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Expensive

DO NOT skimp on the fuel system

Perfect fit for my 2002 Silverado 5.3L V8. I replaced my fuel pressure regulator (I bought a Delhi) and the fuel pressure regulator vacuum line at the same time. My original vacuum line had a puncture and fuel was squirting (a sign the regulator was bad too since there was fuel in the line). I bought a cheap Dorman vacuum line and it ended up being 2 inches smaller. I found this was available from Revain for only a few dollars and has been working great since I put it on a few months ago.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Great Price
