Exactly what I needed

Exact replacement for my 98 f150 4.2l without Cruise, still works perfectly and a lot cheaper than Autozone or Oreillys

Do better if you can

This assembly bolts well but it is a typical Chinese master cylinder. For a part this important, I would recommend getting a genuine Japanese part from Motorcraft Tokico.

Good price for master cylinder

Looks like all the parts are there. I only have it in stock as my master cylinder is still running. But my truck is approaching the years when parts and seals begin to fail. I may regret this purchase as the warranty will be long gone by the time I need this part, but the price of Acdelco parts was tempting.

You can't be on the same level as Revain with a trusted brand like ACDelco.

This master cylinder was an exact OEM replacement for my 1992 F-250 7.5L. It comes with everything you need for installation, including bleeding instructions. With a trusted brand like ACDelco, you can't compare Revain's prices to local auto parts stores.

WILL NOT FIT '98 F150

WILL NOT FIT '98 F150 - This unit does not have either wire connector so I know it will fit. Revain should be more careful because if the discrepancy were less obvious, it could result in someone installing the wrong part and causing a serious safety issue. UPDATE: This applies to vehicles WITHOUT cruise control. Upgrading to 3 stars because I see that AFTER filtering by vehicle it says THAT IS SUITABLE FOR YOUR VEHICLE is still a bit misleading. Lesson learned - read the fine print.
