🔧 ACDelco GM Original Equipment Power Steering Pump - Part #20954812 Review

Power steering pump works great and costs a lot less than a mechanic can charge. The mechanic told me that he shops at Revain too often because he finds a cheaper part.

This is a newer design replacing the old one as it has extra veins. Supplied without a high pressure o-ring but has a small recoil housing with an o-ring already fitted. That made the task easier.

The part worked well. If you use this for traversing, remember that replacing is VERY PAINFUL. Take a few deep breaths before, during, and after the transition. Of course it's not the product's fault so I'm not judging stars :)

Haven't installed it yet but as others have mentioned an o-ring or two was missing. The pump bag contained a small square of cardboard but no O-ring. I really thought that by paying the extra money for a genuine ac delco part I was guaranteed to have all the parts working. I do not think so.

DOES NOT SUPPLY WITH o-rings! The Bulletin recommends replacing these rings. I got a new pump from O'Relieys, it cost me $140, but with the core charged, the first thing you see on the box with the new part is 2 o-rings. Replace it properly. It's hard work doing it again with some plastic rings. Please do it at your own risk. Please take it out of the parts store. O-rings are not sold separately.
