ACDelco 212 559 Original Equipment Multi Purpose Review

I not only had to replace this relay but also the relay socket and it was very easy. I had a CEL secondary air pump at my 2008 Grand Prix and it was one of the many problematic components that eventually led to a rebuild. This relay was $30-$40 at the local auto parts store and half that on Amazon.

Contrary to Revain's installation misinformation, this part not only matched my 2007 Trailblazer SAR Solenoid GM numbers on the parts, it also solved my P0411 DTC. I'm so glad I followed the fitment info on all the other websites to find the correct part number to fix my issue. Revain says it doesn't fit my 2007 Trailblazer LT 4.2, but again their information is wrong. However, they had the best price and delivery. TARGET is out!

Comes in AC Delco packaging and works great. This was one of three parts I needed to repair the secondary air system on my '05 Trailblazer (the other parts were AC Delco 214-2222 [air valve] and AC Delco 219-351 [air valve gasket]. I don't have any for an AC Delco 215-454 [Secondary Air Pump] replacement part and you may or may not need all or any of these parts to repair your Trailblazer, be sure to do the appropriate troubleshooting to determine what you need.

Purchased April 2016, not installed until November 2016. When I finally ordered a new connector end that connects to the relay and air valve. I installed all the details and the system worked perfectly. now, August 2017, the AIR pump turns on and off by itself. We diagnosed the problem and found that the relay periodically closes on its own. Unfortunately the 12 month warranty has expired as it is over a year old.
