🔧 ACDelco 213-1557 Camshaft Position Sensor: Genuine GM Original Equipment Review

I'm trying to use OEM parts on my car and this supplier had the best price. This part is very easy to install but it didn't solve my problem. Not the fault of the part tracking the issue.

Since I changed the VVT solenoid and camshaft position sensor in the same area I figured why not do both. It wasn't easy to change. Disconnect the wiring, unscrew one screw, pull it out and reverse the operation. Only 5 minutes to do.

Works. This was my first stop, which was for the check engine light. The terms advanced the degree. Didn't want to, but repairs can be expensive. This part has been known to cause the same error as the actual cam/timing issue. Since the installation the light has gone out, the light goes out by itself.

10 years ago you would have paid $100-$300 for this part and labor. Today, thanks to YouTube and Revain, it costs $35 and has next-day delivery. Moderately easy to install and fun. THIS WILL FIT YOUR 2002 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER! Revain said it didn't fit but I went to other sites and the part number was the same. Put it in the car and the idle was gone. It sits just in front of the valve cover and requires a 10mm bushing. I thought about telling Revain they were wrong about the fit, but there was no way to get from the helpdesk to the IT guys running the site.
