ACDelco Professional 213-4761 Engine Crankshaft Position Sensor: Performance at its Finest Review

The product itself was probably good when new which I think I bought but came in a torn box and you could see that it was installed. This is the third sensor I bought from them with a similar situation. And even worse, you have to fight over discounts and returns. Buyer Warning

Perfect fit on 97k1500 with 5.7L engine. The part itself is good quality, quick and easy to assemble (and despite all the whining, it didn't come with any gaskets. You don't need them, and no instructions either!) It works great and has solved truck problems. This rating after 3900 miles no problem.

The sensor is fine, but the image is false advertising. Spacers are NOT included. Scrolling down to where it says "often bought together" doesn't show the pads individually, so again you assume they're included. Bought and returned assuming someone took and returned them. Bought the 2nd edition. The picture needs to be changed. Bought them separately but cost me a week when was time.

This crankshaft position sensor is the same as the OEM on a 2003 GM 4.3L V6. It fits perfectly, is easy to install and works as it should. A NOTICE. Come with the gaskets shown in the picture, this was a big problem for me because they were needed, the gaskets cost me an extra $7 at my local GM dealership. Revain needs to fix this sensor image.

As noted by another reviewer, the photo is inaccurate. Gaskets are not included and can be purchased from GM dealers or online. This is a great example of the differences between the Professional and Advantage part lines or part classes. 2005 4.3 that I know personally. The 213-4761 AcDelco part I received does not have the seals or instructions shown on the Revain product image. I sent the sensor back but there was no replacement either. I contacted Delco and found they have a sensor in their catalog with seals and instructions, but the part is no longer supplied in this form.
