The fact that my original TPS was 19 years old prompted me to replace it. The new one improved my engine response and transmission performance.

It worked for what I needed and was a good price, half the price of the local parts stores. Overall I am satisfied and the product has served its purpose.

Everything is fine with the product and delivery. This is the part I was just looking for. The Amazon garage is very useful for finding things like this.

is great - and solves the problem. My Lumina APV was idle for no reason and wouldn't give out a code. I went to clean the throttle body and found that the TPS was a little weak. Read another post and so I gave it a chance. Easy installation as soon as you remove the bracket. In short, there are no more idling problems and the transporter's handling has improved. Do not buy genetically modified products if you can do without them.

Arrived quickly, well packaged for posting. The part worked great and my car survived the smog, now the "Service Motor Soon" code is done. Tip for Oldsmobile owners: use original parts. I spent $38 on a cheaper brand that was supposed to fit my car. Should have gone with it the first time! (The price was well below what the dealer wanted and $25 below what the local parts dealers could do.

My Buick 95 seems to periodically pass these position sensors causing the check engine light and engine revs at idle. I tried two sensors from AutoZone/Advanced Auto, both failed after about 1-2 years each, so I decided to try a "brand name" sensor to see if it lasted longer.
