ACDelco 215 469 Original Equipment Canister Review

It's hard to "LOVE" a vapor can, but I was very happy with this purchase. It was the perfect replacement for my car and solved the problem of the car stopping when the gas tank was full. I highly recommend this product. Also remember that clips are not that easy to remove from an old canister.

My old one had problems. After removing the old one on my 2006 Trailblazer LS, I blew air into one of the air intakes and all the dust came out. It's time to replace it (some people just blow the dust away). I had to replace the fuel gauge and relay, so I might as well replace that while I'm at it. Has been working great for 2 months now.

This is a direct replacement for 2006 Chevy Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Buick Rainier, Saab 9-7x, Olds Bravada, not only 2006. If on these trucks you top up the gas tank after the crank clicks , the fuel gets into the vapor canister and pretty much destroys it, sending saturated vapors to the engine. The receiver fits my 2007 GMC Envoy 4.2L however the bracket is for a different application and there was a piece of metal in one of the hose connectors that I had to remove. (pulled out with a slight twisting motion with pliers) then it came up, see photos to see the part I removed.
