Simple solution for filter

Great solution for my 2015 Silverado 2500 HD. The problem was that my fuel tank would not fill up, which as you will see is a problem for many people. The problem is either in that purge valve or in the evaporator tank. Easy install, took about 15 minutes but I didn't install a new pre-filter under the gas cap as the old one looks fine.

Works best in charcoal canisters

2016 1500 Silverado 4.3L v6 Double Cab 4x4. Perfect fit, insert hoses into ends of rubber hose and snap on clamps. Connect a cable that does not require an adapter. It was a direct replacement for mine. 2 bolts and plastic clamp, discarded inflation hose and plug. Remove the old filter from the bracket and snap the new one in place, replacing the hose. Slide the filling hose and cover back on, insert the 2 screws and the plastic clip, done. My Silverado had 2 problems. Code P0446, and couldn't…

Requires jumper adapter for 2009 Silverado

This item is a refurbished part and is twice the size of the original but will fit. I watched a YouTube installation video on a 2008 Silverado and found that the filter is not in the same place on a 2009. Mine was found near the transmission on the passenger side. The video also shows the use of a 5/8 inch hose going from the solenoid to the vapor canister. I reused the original hose but not sure how well it will hold up as the size of the new part changes the position of the hose giving the…
