Exact replacement for my 10 year old Avalanche, works as factory. Installation was a bit tricky. I had to lower the top of my Avalanche to get to the screw that held the factory one in place and hold it down to screw in the new one. Although overall impressed

Had to replace the factory antenna because it was loose. I tried to tighten it, the plastic tab broke. I've never played around with it so I didn't realize how much fun it would be to replace it haha. No space but I installed it and the new one fits snugly so I don't have to worry about truck washes or inclement weather.

I replaced my broken antenna on my 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD with this antenna. My old antenna had 1 feature/cable less but this was on sale and the cables were properly aligned once the installation was complete. I contacted OnStar to make sure it worked and it worked. The connector was identical and the wires matched the correct wires. No questions.

Broke the original on the garage door (my fault for not lifting it all the way) by pulling out the original antenna. The antenna continued to work, but the unique mother broke. I had to buy a new (and expensive) antenna to get the nut. Headliner removal and installation is not easy and due to its color and material type, grease/dirt from your hands will transfer to the headliner material and be difficult to clean. The replacement antenna fits perfectly, it is OEM.
