Engine Mount - GM Genuine Parts 25847739: Enhance Performance Review

Works fine on my Tahoe 07. No more wobble and weird shifting at start. Make sure you have some extension cords if you're doing this yourself.

I don't know what GM was thinking when they decided to use gel filled motor mounts. This mount is made of hard rubber and is the same as the motor mounts found on police tahoes. The description doesn't specifically say it fits the Escalade, Yukon, and Suburban, but it does fit and is a great replacement for the flimsy gel-filled mounts that come with civilian vehicles.

FYI, for those replacing it themselves it's not too bad. My truck is a 2007 Chevy Tahoe 5.3. I have actually used this mount on the passenger side of a Hummer H3 which is the same as the Police PPV GM mount part number 25847739. This was the second time I have replaced my mount since owning the truck so I did myself this time opted for a heavier mount. I was able to access the bolts on the block much easier under the truck.

UPDATE: No problems with assembly. Some of the bolts are gone. After reinstalling the screws, the car drives normally again. This mount is amazing! Used this part to replace a broken engine mount on my 2008 Gmc Sierra. Perfect fit, a solid mount and an improved design that is easier to bolt on than the original part. Can't comment on durability as it's only been on the truck for a few months, but so far it's holding up pretty well. The only complaint I have is the price, while it's not the most expensive motor mount it's certainly more expensive than the stock 1500 pickup mount but then again.
