Poor quality control

I am very disappointed, I installed this part and still had the same symptoms. Paid the store $75 to check and they said it was bad. I ordered another part, installed it and the machine works great. It cost me $75 to order this part, I would not recommend it.

Good alternator best in alternators and alternators

This was the second alternator from ACDelco, first ordered on 5th December 2015, after five months the voltage regulator failed and overcharged the battery. Thanks to Revain, I got a replacement two days later, which cost me an extra $$ to install a second time.

Update 11/06/17: 3 weeks and 2 phone calls after I placed my order they finally got my Revain order into their system so it looks like I'm still getting a refund received for the core (hopefully in 4-6 weeks). Upgrade from 2 to 4 stars. I paid more for this alternator at Revain than at my local auto parts store because I expected to get a $49 refund after shipping my used main component, as reviewer TOPJOB7 wrote. Works in my Honda Pilot 03 - $49 discount available!

This alternator is a perfect match for the original alternator in my 2003 Honda Pilot. If you buy this from Amazon you will get a core discount from acdelcocorerefund. (I have confirmed they are legal at ACDelco.) I simply provided my Amazon order number on the website and they sent me a prepaid FedEx shipping label.
