Absolute nonsense. I bought this because it is a genuine GM AC Delco part; it should fit like it came from the factory. However, this is nothing more than a factory part. It's very cheaply made, costing 4 times a Dorman piece. The Dorman connector is the same as the OEM part and connects with a latch. I struggled to connect it and pushed so hard I thought I was going to break the retaining clips.

Fits Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, Yukon XL and Escalade with rear heater (rear heated). This item is not suitable for Silverado or Sierra trucks as they do not have a rear heater. This element connects to the T-piece on the firewall. The T-piece is not available on truck models. Dorman part #800-409 will not fit the SUVs listed but will fit the truck models listed.

This part fits my 2004 Yukon XL Denali. Revain and Autozone did not list the correct part. This part fits EXACTLY!. Do not purchase the Dorman 800-403 part if you have a 2004 Yukon XL Denali with a 6.0 engine and your heater hose is broken. I don't know about other models but I do know that the Dorman 800-403 part doesn't fit my car, the ID of the Dorman part is slightly smaller and it doesn't slip on the tee. I was nervous about ordering not because of the cost but because I had to wait 2 days

Perfect fit, almost identical to the original. Snaps into place with little effort. Fixed coolant leak... My old one came loose fairly easily; I've been lucky. If it doesn't come off easily then you need a proper release tool, or maybe if you're good at working in tight spaces with a pick...? The trick lies in the white ribs that sit under the hem on the tee's plastic tube; The only way to remove the white tabs is to lift those white tabs over the edge of the plastic tee it is also attached to.
