🛠️ ACDelco 45D2497 Professional Front Lower Ball Joint Assembly for Suspension Review

Don't believe the photos, the photos show the oiler installed and not. Otherwise everything is fine, just do not lubricate.

I received what I consider to be a non-original item in an Acdelco box! Cheap ball joint, no greasing point. If I had understood that, they would have sent it back, but my car was already disassembled. Very disappointed. Not sure if the product was replaced and returned but still not ok!

I didn't like this product as after several months of fitting it in my car as a spare part while driving it could have broken in a fatal accident I was told that I was driving at a higher speed. Thanks to the grace of God I survived

I bought left and right side, different bolts/nuts and types of ball joints. One had a solder joint, the other a mirror that bent when received. It is difficult to find the same parts. The rest of the installation went smoothly. Just a word of caution before you start this job: if you live anywhere in the rust belt go to GM and get 3 mounting bolts for each side. You will need them! I replaced almost all of the suspension hardware on the front of my '06 Trailblazer. Drives like a champ now.

Bought both sides (45D2496 and 45D2497). ACDelco appears to be sourced from two different Chinese suppliers. The design details are different, the ball bearings are different (one has an oiler, the other does not, one is clogged, one has a snap ring), different screws, different bushings. I actually went back to Revain and reordered elsewhere and they ended up being identical to these. They came down to the right one, which had to be drilled out in the stabilizer link.

Do not order this article! Came in a box with a higher quality item that I paid for, but there was a remanufactured part in the box, even if it wasn't a higher quality remanufactured part! Nuts and bolts mismatch, different ball joint, even the ball joint is different from the left forearm I ordered which was missing most of the hardware which was also a lower quality part in a more expensive box! I don't know if I can ever trust Revain orders again! Why pay more for a quality part when you can
