As others have said this ball joint exposes a lot of pins when fitted. It doesn't seem to affect performance, I'll just lube it to keep the water from binding it. 97xj 4x4

This ball joint was purchased in July 2017 and both sides are the same. I've never seen a shoe so fast. The ball joint is still tight, but now it needs a lot of extra work. My mistake, the $13 ball joint, should have known better, but with the AC Delco name I figured I'd get a little better. And the warranty is only 1 year so I'm screwed.

As a skilled mechanic I try to use only the best parts I can find and at a good price. I'm very picky about bearings and seals. I will not use Chinese made bearings and some companies that used to have quality bearings are now selling junk. This is not the case here, wonderful products well done. I have used it in the past and will continue to use it in the future.

Pretty well built, serves its purpose perfectly. Installation can be a bit tricky, my advice is: rent a ball joint press kit, buy a keystone light box and plan a whole evening of finger cracking and swearing like a sailor! It's actually not that bad if you have the right tools and some patience. The product is well built, as good as any I have seen and will last a long time if handled in a civil manner.

Installed these on a Jeep Cherokee a few months ago knowing I would be changing axles next year and didn't want to spend a ton on ball joints to get another one in less than a year to get installed. I honestly didn't think they would last even a month as cheap as these, but after many miles off-road all four are still tight. More time will tell, but I'm definitely impressed with these inexpensive ball joints.
