Not what I expected

Fits my 2002 Honda CRV but there was no room to install a locking ring. It makes sense to spend the extra money and buy a higher quality product.

Pros
  • Replacement parts
Cons
  • Availability of replacement parts

The product is not worth a penny.

The ball joint is junk, it has no groove for the retaining ring. I installed it and the moment I was moving my car it fell out and ripped the boot on my CV joint. I am very disappointed in AC DELCO.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than the others

Perfect fit at the perfect price.

The perfect fit at the perfect price. With a clamp press or hydraulic press, you will need a ball joint because the location in the spindle does not allow driving in and out with a hammer. Also, the rubber boot is a different size and cannot be replaced with the factory ball joint.

Pros
  • Shocks, Struts & Suspension
Cons
  • ---

Terrible! 6 months later on my '03 Honda CR-V

Terrible! After 6 months on my '03 Honda CR-V with only 2500 miles on it, the dust boots on those ball joints have completely blown out (both sides). I'm pretty sure I didn't pinch them during installation - they just wore out from being pinched between the steering knuckle and the control lever and tearing the lip of the boot apart.

Pros
  • Ball joints
Cons
  • Slightly cracked
