Description of πŸ”§ ACDelco Advantage Front Right Lower Suspension Control Arm with Ball Joint (Part Number 46D3052A)

Dependable and economical replacement. Highly competitive price. Provides the performance you expect from ACDelco, at an economical price. Bearings are metal-on-metal or full synthetic polymer for better handling through reduced end play and lower rotating torque. Full-ball type studs use cold-formed manufacturing to reduce imperfections and hold the tightest of tolerances.

Fits great but not as strong as I hoped

Fits great with my 1997 Saturn SL1. Looks pretty solid, but this thing bent like a piece of tin when I hit a fence post at pretty low speed. Slow enough not to deploy the airbag. Although I don't blame it on the control stick. 5 stars because it fits and does what it's supposed to. If I were to do the whole front end all over again, I'd be more inclined to go with Moog. But to replace my bent side I went back to ACDelco, mostly because I don't want to replace the other side as well. These…

Pros
  • Reliable and economical replacement
Cons
  • Negative gift

Exactly as advertised

Just like an old part. Easy installation. The old part of the ball joint and the rubber bushings are worn out. This tightens the suspension and the car is easy to control. Time will tell if it holds up.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Good price and reputable manufacturer

This was a perfect fit for my 2000 SL and was 2/3 the price of name brand parts at a local shop near me. Just put it on so time will tell but I had it with local house brands and would rather know who made the parts I put on the car.

Pros
  • Shocks, Struts and Suspension
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Seems decent though. at Control Arms

I gave 4 stars because it was clearly very old stock. I was unable to force the lube through the zirconia fittings and found that some of the lube they filled at the factory was almost as hard as the old sealant and prevented the lube from getting in. I had to let go of all the old grease to get fresh grease in them. Let's see how long they last as most lubricated ball joints don't last long.

Pros
  • Control Arms & Parts
Cons
  • Protection
