Underwhelming Strut Performance

According to my experience, these struts failed to deliver the performance I was hoping for. The ride quality was stiff and uncomfortable, and I didn't feel any improvement in handling or cornering. The only positive aspect was the relatively easy installation process. Overall, I was disappointed with the lackluster performance of these struts.

Pros
  • Easy to install and improves overall vehicle handling
Cons
  • Some users report durability issues with the control arm bushings

Out of spare parts

Was replaced when my car was serviced last year. I needed new bushings for my Impala. these preserved (at the factory) and a year later they have to be replaced again. Didn't even last a year. Cannot use guarantees as we installed them ourselves. Seriously a joke

Pros
  • Metal bushing/rubber bushing design ensures proper alignment
Cons

already worn out! good for spares

Can't figure out why they're worn out. I've put GM parts in cars for over 40 years. They should last 75,000 or more. I am the owner and sole driver. All new racks, links, bushings, tires. And those items only lasted 18,000?!

Pros
  • Fatigue resistance ensures longer life even in harsh environments
Cons
  • Negative present
