Description of ๐Ÿš— Enhance Your Vehicle's Performance with ACDelco Specialty 519-36 Front Spring Assisted Shock Absorber

Constant rate front coil springs can help improve stability and maintain ride height. Variable rate rear coil springs provide 500 lbs (per pair) of load capacity. [not to exceed vehicle gvwr (gross vehicle weight rating). product does not increase payload.]. Seamless drawn-over-mandrel (dom) tubing decreases internal component wear, resulting in longer service life. Super finished, chromed, piston rod provides anti-corrosion properties, a more consistent wear surface, proper seal lubrication, and longer product life. Real-world tested to ensure that the shocks will fit intended vehicles and applications. Fit type: Vehicle Specific.

Comfortable ride is good for shocks, struts and suspension

They seem to work very well and apart from not getting new underbody hardware I would give 5 stars. Of the new stock dampers we installed last year, they are much better and more comfortable to ride

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Excellent replacement shock absorbers

I fitted them to my '96 city car and solved the understeer problem. This makes the front end stiffer without sacrificing handling. Coming out of Pasadena we put it to over 100mph and it felt like sledding and it corners well.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Intervals

These are amazing top of the range shocks, struts and hangers

I fitted these to the front of my 2002 Ford Crown Victoria LX SPORT. Wow! Harder, but not too hard. Before putting them on I tried to fold them by hand and couldn't. If you buy a shock absorber and it can be folded by hand, those shock absorbers are useless. Worn shock absorbers can be folded in manually. These are the best shock absorbers. I added her photo to my Vika crown. Yes, they are built into the main coil spring. Roll up the spool in your LOL spool.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Some small things

Raises the car - shock absorption

Looks high quality. Used on a 1996 Impala where my old shocks still allowed the car to move like a boat on the waves. These shocks immediately removed that feeling. I'm glad it also raised the front end a few inches and now the car doesn't scrape the ground when I'm going off the road and speed bumps. It was hard to take the shock. To install it properly I had to use a jack and block to push it close enough to screw it in.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Nothing

Increased ground clearance, better cornering.

I just replaced the Monroe Sens Track shocks that I installed six weeks ago and bought from Revain on my 96 foot Buick Roadmaster with these ACDelco spring shocks. Monroe delivered a great product and they worked as they should. I load the car when I travel with my family or take my colleagues to lunch every day, I work with a couple of strong guys. The Monroes were too soft. These ACDelco spring dampers really improve the ride quality by making things stiffer on this big car. I replaced allโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Not sure

Best value for money in dampers, struts and suspension

**edit** (Very SMOOTH ride quality. Doesn't soften at all, speed bumps have to be negotiated very slowly. Rebound is terrible, makes Lincoln drive like a real boat Don't buy them for a city car Wouldn't recommend at all Decent quality but avoid using a Panther platform Front of car is too heavy for them Will later be replaced by Motorcraft Springs themselves to make the front about 2 inches Lower.) --- Original Review --> They were fitted to a 2002 Lincoln City Car. Ease of installation, one

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
