Good replacement OE

The rear shock absorbers on my 1993 Suburban k2500 blew before I had driven a few hundred miles, this solved the problem. Installed in the hotel car park in 10 minutes.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Hard to say

Not bad for $30 - Shocks

Just last week my Tahoe got a little sloppy after about 4 years of installing those cheap shocks. I'd say it's a good run for $30 each and an hour or so to install. This time I will be buying Bilstein but if you are on a budget and need shock absorbers I can guarantee you will get them for at least 4 years.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

I can do without a gas bottle. Comes wired to stay closed and once released it opens like a boxing bush with some pressure. If anyone needs help with the spring system, like coil springs instead of shocks, then they might be for you, but the only thing a shock is supposed to do is dampen the up and down movement of the chassis, not lift the chassis. If you want a nice smooth ride I would steer clear of throttle bursts.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Goes
