No road trip shock. Ordered 2, returned 2 twice.

Ordered twice 2 expensive AC Delco dampers 580-439. I got a number shock that the Revain website couldn't match to my car. The first time I returned for a replacement, the second time I returned for a refund. Both times the shock I got was a cheap auto bypass shock absorber. This damper may not work with your vehicle. Don't let anyone tell you it works if they've never driven an Escalade in a car.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Interchangeable

Excellent original shock absorbers in spare parts

I love these shock absorbers! Bought 2 sets of these from Revain! I had a set like this on my Escalade that has done over 35,000 miles and still works great. My first set lasted 240,000, so I figured I might as well go OE. Although GM has now sold Delphi to BWI. They appear to be original equipment of equal quality. If you are considering choosing a cheaper gas replacement. DO NOT DO THAT! Get an OE replacement if currently installed in your vehicle. If you're watching like me for a few weeks…

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • I won't say anything

They work great unless you get a broken one.

I am the first owner of an all original 2000 Suburban 1500 4WD with 214,214 miles. A long time ago the rear shocks started to lose air causing the compressor to run constantly until it stopped (probably burned out). I only tow my boat for a pole and it didn't seem to make much of an impact so I didn't do anything about it, especially since replacing the stock shocks was expensive. Later the front end started to "float" and felt like a boat. I had no dashboard errors or codes. Combined with such

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs
