🌬️ ACDelco GM Original Equipment A3083C Air Filter: Superior Performance and Longevity Review

Just a quick note, my owner's manual says to replace this after 50,000 miles. (2013 Acadia) I pulled the old one out at 47K and it's bad! I found online that the maintenance schedule has been adjusted to 45,000. It looks like it's made out of fiberglass like a quality water filter and might be less restrictive than an aftermarket filter.

The filter comes in an AC Delco box but is not a genuine GM AC Delco products come with the make and part number, this filter is only identified by a paper sticker otherwise it is a cheap and good product.

Nothing to write about this EOM replacement filter for my 14 year old Traverse. I live near a dusty road in the country and change the filter once a year. The Chevy approved filter fits with no issues and has been used on several other members of the Traverse family with no problems. I'm tired of seeing "Please check the item". It fits and works exactly as it should. If you have a GM vehicle, you should always use ACDelco replacement parts. They are of very high quality and will not void your warranty. Revain sold me this for a lot less than my local dealer can offer. And shipped quickly. It arrived in sealed ACDelco packaging.

This is an OEM filter. So it was a perfect fit. The Enclave air filter is more difficult to change than most. On other cars I can change the air filter in less than a minute. It took me about 5 minutes to change our enclave's filter. The Enclave air cleaner has several Torx (T25) screws that hold the cover in place. Some of them are very difficult to access. Yes it is an OEM so it will fit better. This filter is designed for our 2010 Buick Enclave and fits without too much trouble. Opening the engine air filter box is a bit tricky, you should probably remove the rearmost screw (near the air filter) from the black plastic panel that goes from the radiator to the hood hinge so you can lift the panel a little on the side and open the top of the air box .
