📢 ACDelco D1925C GM Original Equipment A Note Horn: Superior Sound Quality and OEM Reliability Review

As mentioned in another review, on one of the horns I received (not sure if A or G grade) I had to cut and splice wires for installation. The other had a matching socket.

The horn works perfectly. However, this is not a direct replacement. Some of the included ports and hardware are useless. You will need to cut your original plug/pigtail to install this item and you may need to bend or modify the horn bracket to ensure a proper fit.

I was hoping that the plugs supplied would fix the problem, but I ran into the same problem that others have mentioned. The horn does not come with the connections shown and is not a replacement for the existing horn on my 2001 Seville. I need to cut off the existing connector which is not an "OEM replacement" for me.

The horn was out of service in July 2017. Installed in May 2015, so just over 2 years old. More importantly, my Cadillac Allante has only done 2,000km in the two years since I bought it and has been stored in a garage. Also, it wasn't an exact replacement and required a bit of fiddling with the brackets to install. Beware of the Delco AC labels - this was probably a fake - Delco in name only.

Hello, I have returned the twin of this horn bought on ebay. I want to warn you about this particular horn. The auxiliary horn (left, low note) is properly tuned using the included mounting hardware that fits into the socket on the horn. On this horn (right, high tone), none of the mounting hardware fits into the socket on the horn, although photos of the horn show that the socket and hardware fit together.
