Original equipment part, original equipment manufacturer quality

Very expensive parts compared to the rest of the market. However, the less expensive parts I tried were disappointing with premature failures. I bit the bullet and went with OEM. I hope they hold up as they should. Many people tend to overtighten the axle nut. This leads to premature failure. Be sure to use a torque wrench and set it to the recommended value.

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • For old

The one I received was not OEM

I received one that appears to be made by other manufacturers, not Acdelco or GM. Anyway, I had to install it and it's been almost a year since I bought it. But I replaced the bearing which wasn't too bad, later I found out the other side was bad. The time will show. I advise if you received a different one just send it back. And you can still find the original anywhere online for a reasonable price.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Useless features

AC Delco FW121 is back in the USA!

I will not bore you with the easy installation. You can see it in all the posts related to this camp. Long story short, AC Delco changed their warranty policy last year. If purchased before 4/1/18 they have a ONE YEAR WARRANTY and after 4/1/18 they have a LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY to the purchaser of the part. I've used the same bearing in the past and one of them only lasted 2 years. I recently ordered a new AC Delco FW121 from Rockauto and they are now made in the USA. This may explain the…

I was very happy with everything and when the job was complete

After trying to get a local replacement hub from a dealer for $219 or a local auto parts store that offered TIMKIN for $250 with a lifetime warranty. (Who really cares about a 2003 car) I found this part at Revain and it was exactly what I was looking for, AC/DELCO OEM part number fits for a heck of a lot less money at $147.00 with 2 day shipping from BASIC. The part was correct as advertised, high quality and fitted as expected with the same fit as what came out. I was very happy all round and

Pros
  • Great choice
Cons
  • No performance

The packaging you see in the photos was exactly as it was on my doorstep. The hub was housed in a smaller box just dangling from the (slapped) larger box. Pretty bad packaging job but I think it's hard to damage the hub assembly so I'm not too picky. The part appears to be very well made and really looks like it's the exact same part that GM installed from the factory. It came with an ABS sensor, new cable clamps in place, and some blue Loctite already on the mounting screws. It took me…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Too long to wait
