looks like a good quality belt

I installed this belt yesterday to replace an old worn belt on a 2005 Cummins 5.9L. The belt fit well. Heavy compared to the belt I removed.

Pros
  • quality construction
Cons
  • capacity

Competes with any other HD belt

This belt rivals other OEM replacement belts. "Heavy Duty", it should last longer than Mopar's OEM belt. Used Mopar, Gates and now this belt. This is the best value.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Very expensive

The spare belt saved the tractor.

Bought as a spare. I bought the same belt a year ago as a spare to replace the original belt on a Dodge Ram Cummins truck that broke at 256,000 miles. I'm glad he was with me when we were out in the Nevada desert late at night.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Reliability

Great Purchase!: Belts, Hoses & Pulleys

Great! Comes in AC Delco packaging with AC Delco lifetime warranty but this Gates belt is way better in my opinion. On Cummins vehicles, use a 1/2" ratchet (couldn't break the bar) with tension rod if necessary from underneath when routing the new belt, and pull it over the A/C compressor from underneath when tightening the belts . Spanner and you don't need a second person

Pros
  • Great for a Small Home
Cons
  • Questionable Purchase for Seniors
