ACDelco PT1123 Original Equipment Multi Purpose Review

Product works as it should. The item was not defective in any way. And it's easy to install. Cheaper than buying from an auto parts store and you get it faster!

The wires are one gauge larger than the original wires, which is normal. The connections are soldered with shrink tubing. I didn't like that all the wires were the same color. Installation also requires either removing the seats, carpet/upholstery, or making a T-cut in the carpet beneath the floor mat. GM design flaw. Also part is riveted to the body. Generally better than the original, only the wires are the same color.

The product comes in its original sealed packaging with crimp connectors and some general instructions. The item appears to be of good quality and is working so far. Not very happy with the design but it gets the job done. You may want to carry more red/pink 18 gauge connectors as some of the wires in the blue 14 gauge connectors are too loose. (Don't cut your carpet either: I only did it because the carpet in my van doesn't hold up well in places.)
