Not for 2001 Toyota Corolla with automatic transmission. I bought it from Amazon and said it would fit, but neither the gasket nor the filter fit me. Unfortunately I received it some time ago and it's too late to return it.

Shame on me. I delayed the actual replacement of the filter and opened the box after returning it. Lesson Learned: Always check products for completeness before launching variations. Cannot comment on the landing as work will not be delayed.

I wanted a genuine part and ACDelco makes parts for every GM product. I just ordered what I thought was better. Don't do it like me and just order. Look at the shape of the transmission sump and you will see that the gasket pattern has an irregular shape. Again, this filter only has (3) screws while the 1996 Geo Metro filter has (6) screws. I didn't even open the box with the new part until I removed the pan and saw that the filter was wrong.

Either Revain or the seller miscalculated the fitment for this vehicle. I don't think it's the seller's fault as the picture is exactly the same as the item I received. The problem is you can't know if it will fit until you drain and remove the pan. Good thing Autozone had one on hand. Mine had a square joint, this one had a round joint, and the screw holes didn't match. The gasket didn't fit either, so afterwards you'll need to put the gasket in the oil pan before draining the oil to possibly…
