1 week UPDATE: I had a flicker. Vertical lines appear at startup and the backlight flickers at 30Hz. It's awful. Turning it on and off didn't help, but over time it stopped. I kept changing inputs and cutting power to fix the problem. I have no idea why, but that must be what Reddit users are complaining about. One day later. And the monitor seems normal again. Fantastic monitor for about a month then I started having issues with vertical stripes and imaginative retention hopefully Acer fixes these issues. Acer requires you to send the monitor in for repair, which can take half a month or more, which is unacceptable. At first I thought I had burn in/image retention on this monitor after a few hours overnight and I wanted to return it, but after some research I found that if you crank the black gain up too much (mine was 8 I guess) , image burn-in keeps coming back. Received this after trying a cheap 144Hz VA 1440p monitor with horrible ghosting. The biggest plus of this monitor is definitely the IPS screen. Virtually no halos or artifacts, bright with richer colors. The transition from 144Hz to 240Hz isn't as dramatic as from 60Hz to 144Hz, but your eyes can still see it. These are sleep monitors. Ideal for games and other tasks. AMD FreeSync, in case that matters. Although I don't care I use three monitors on 2080ti and everything is perfect. Ignore my cable management. I haven't done it yet.

The picture is so sharp and clear that you don't have to compromise to play at 270Hz. The monitor is incredibly smooth and the brightness is sufficient. No dead pixels or flickering.

Terrible monitor, terrible company. I bought this from ACER and they absolutely screwed me up. Broke within a year and will not be replaced. I sent it in for repair with the same ghosting/image retention issues that other people are having and they said they couldn't reproduce the problem and just sent it to me without asking how to reproduce the problem. Don't buy this.

Great product for the price. 270Hz overclocked, great colors on an IPS panel and no visible ghosting in my opinion. My only criticism is that the first monitor sent had dead pixels. However, the second monitor sent was perfect.

Here is the main monitor. Fire colored, it's damn legal. The price for the result of the product was exactly what it should be. IPS is ok. If you buy it I'll be surprised if you say you don't like it.

Received it today and so far so good with a little calibration. 144Hz to 240Hz is more than what most people say. I'll never go back and can't wait to see 360Hz on a 27" 1440p IPS. The only downside is that I prefer the more natural colors of the LG 27GL83A-B 27.

I originally gave this monitor 5 stars but after a few weeks I returned this monitor. I noticed a lot of flickering in the vertical lines, resulting in a transient afterimage. I even switched the predator xb273u gx (nitro twin) to a new bar and had the same issues. I'm still not entirely sure what the problem is. Just clarify the situation. I have no problems with the monitor. I have 270z. Its colors are bright and precise. Nothing is blurry, the text is clear. BUT. If you're using a low-end graphics card, you can't get 270Hz. Also, the text may look fuzzy for some reason. I have no idea why that is. I use rtx 2080ti and everything is crisp and clear. 270Hz is absolutely awesome and once you get to 270Hz you will never want to go back.
