Warm, good looking and non-slip

My goal was to find real sheepskin slippers with non-slip soles to wear outside. They meet all requirements 100%! You look amazing and the sheepskin coat is very warm. Good thing they don't need socks. We went through two different styles of LLBean but the soles were too slippery on both. There is a temptation to buy another pair if you decide to switch up, but this pair will last.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • I will add later

The most beautiful slippers I have ever owned

Let me start by saying that this is the most expensive pair of slippers I have ever bought. So I expected them to be better than the regular $20-30 pairs I've worn in the past. I'm happy to report that you really do get what you pay for in this case. These Acorn slippers are cool, flashy, well tailored and hold my feet better than the regular moccasins I'm used to. They really look more like unstructured wool indoor and outdoor shoes than traditional slippers. The sole is thick/fleshy enough…

Pros
  • The best in their niche
Cons
  • Poor set

Versatile men's slippers

I already have these slippers and love them. However, it is true that they run small in full size and I had to swap the mules for a larger size. When I bought this pair of Acorn Ramblers I simply ordered a size larger than usual. They just fit well! I'm glad Acorn still makes this style because not only is it comfortable, but it's also versatile. The rubber outsole is durable enough to walk the streets without worrying about slipping. I haven't worn them around town, but it would be easy to…

Pros
  • Easy to read panel
Cons
  • Style 90

Just wait for the inner lining to straighten out.

They fit normally when new, but after a few weeks the lining flattens out and the shoes become sloppy and uncomfortable. There are much better indoor shoes out there and I would not recommend buying this model,

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • A number of factors

Good non-slip sole, pleasant feel, good grip even outdoors

Can be worn both indoors and outdoors, looks good and wears well. Such a consumer needs orthopedic insoles (you need to buy them separately). Have bought several pairs over the past four years, some for myself, others for my adult sons - and they are very happy with them.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

The third pair I have.

This is my third pair. I get about 2-3 years from them. I wear them every day at home, in the garage and in the garden. They feel moderately tight at first, but after a few weeks the down will begin to shrink (if it fits perfectly on arrival, it will likely feel too loose after a few weeks). The soles never wear out and always provide good traction on carpet, tile, and hardwood (even taking out snow and ice when taking out the garbage). Eventually the stitching will unravel but even at this…

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Nothing here

The second pair of the best shoes

My first pair is about 3 years old and has been worn very well. They're still around, but now they're regimented for trips outside to the mailbox or bird feeder. So, it's time for a new pair to take home. They are very comfortable. Great profile/sole. They lack arch support, but I fix that with the shearling panels of men's ugg boots. The perfect combination of support, comfort and durability. Expensive? Someone would say that. But if you can wear casual wear for literally 3+ years, that's good

Pros
  • is understandable, also by the old
Cons
  • reliability

Acorn doesn't make them what they used to be!

I've been buying Acorn slippers for over 20 years, still have my very first pair, a bit tatty and not very pretty to look at, 'put them on to take out the trash' but soles and Workship still holding on, you can't kill them with normal everyday use. However the material quality of these new ones is not that good and I really don't think they will last as long as the old ones.

Pros
  • Hard wearing finish
Cons
  • Long wait

Falling apart immediately

Received 9 days ago. As you can see from the photos, the pads are starting to come off. Totally unacceptable for a $78 pair of slippers.

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • Speed
