Works perfectly. Make sure you have a decent micro USB cable ($2-3) for it to work. Then it's easy to go!

Product worked great after I got a decent micro USB to USB A cable. Bought a set of 3" Revain cables for $7 and it worked. Windows 10 on a DELL XPS computer. I followed the instructions on the Acrobatic website for programming with the Arduino IDE. After downloading the Silicon Labs UART to Serial driver and restarting the computer, connect the board with the micro USB cable I used on the portable drive. There is no sound when connecting and the COM port is not displayed. Downloaded outdatedโ€ฆ

Excellent quality ESP8266 device

If you've ever fixed anything between 2014 and 2016, you've undoubtedly heard of the ESP8266 chip. This is a great implementation with lots of inputs and outputs. I use the Arduino IDE to program it, I have wired and provided many of them for different purposes; they all passed the test perfectly. One of them has been working non-stop for more than 6 months, taking temperature.

Very happy with this purchase!

Well made and delivered quickly. I have previously purchased an ESP8266 ESP-12E from Revain through another company. It came from China, took forever, was poorly designed and the wifi didn't work. This device from Acrobotic was a few bucks more expensive, but I immediately saw that it was of much better quality and the WiFi worked without any problems. I am very happy with this purchase!

Product works like a charm

Product works like a charm. The Acrobotic website has great FAQs and tutorials for new users, and everything works right out of the box, just like I hoped. It's also great that the device can be powered purely via USB - programming the ESP-12e without a development board requires a separate power supply to provide the required power.
